Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Strawberry Pretzel Salad

 Prep Time: 30 minutes, 1 hour in refrigerator
 Cook Time: 10 minutes
 Servings: 10-15 servings



  • 1 stick margarine - melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels

Cream Layer

  • 8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tub Cool Whip

Jello Layer

  • 1 large box strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 large box frozen strawberries


Crush pretzels in a large plastic baggie. Mix with melted margarine and sugar. Press into bottom of a 9" X 13" casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool.

Beat cream ingredients by mixer until creamy. Be sure cream cheese is softened before mixing. Spread over the cooled crust.

Dissolve jello in boiling water. Slice strawberries in half or thirds and mix with jello. Spread immediately over the cream filling. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
