Funnel Cakes

Funnel Cakes

 Prep Time: 20 minutes
 Cook Time: 6-8 minutes
 Servings: 6-8 servings


  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • powdered sugar
  • vegetable oil in deep fryer or frying pan


Heat oil to 375 degrees. Mix ingredients, except powdered sugar. Fill funnel or a resealable bag with the corner cut with 1/4 cup of mixture, holding finger over the hole. Remove finger and with circular motion, allow mixture to drop into oil. Fry 6-8 minutes, turning once. Drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar.
