French Dip Sandwiches

French Dip Sandwiches

 Cook Time: 6 hours
 Servings: 6-8 servings


  • Tri-tip roast
  • 2 onions
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 cans beef broth
  • Provolone cheese slices
  • Crusty rolls
  • Dijon mustard


Brown roast in oil. Slice onions. Place onion, garlic, beef broth and roast in slow cooker. Cook on high for an hour or so and then switch it to low for the rest of the day.

Remove roast and slice.

Spread dijon mustard on roll, put meat, onion and cheese on roll. Microwave until cheese is melted. Use remaining broth to dip sandwich as you eat.
